Every other page on this site describes something that goes into a vehicle. This is the page where it goes onto one.

A platform integration is not the sum of its subsystems. It is the interfaces between them, and that is where programs lose months. The sensor that will not hold alignment, the payload that browns out the bus on start up, the keypad mounted somewhere nobody can reach in gloves.

Our team builds the mounts, the harnesses, the enclosures and the packs already. Integration is where our team takes responsibility for whether they work together on the actual vehicle.

Wire harness design

Custom harness development for manned and unmanned ground platforms, from a single cable assembly to a fully integrated wiring system built for the space and environment available.

Perception and LiDAR

Scanning LiDAR, camera, radar and GNSS installed with the mounts, alignment and harnessing behind them, because a sensor that moves in its bracket is a sensor that lies.

Tire systems

Central tire inflation, run flat inserts and pressure monitoring, plumbed and wired so terrain mode changes actually reach the wheel ends.

Operator controls

Keypads, displays, throttles and control heads, mounted where a gloved hand can reach them and wired to the bus the platform speaks.

Power and distribution

Distribution panels, silent watch batteries, charging and load shedding, sized against a real power budget rather than a hopeful one.

Drive and actuation

Steering, braking and driveline actuation over CAN and J1939, for platforms moving from manual control toward uncrewed operation.

Mission payloads

Modular payload plates that bolt and plug into the platform, so a vehicle can change role without going back to an integrator.

Where the surprisesusually come from

Four things account for most of the schedule lost on an integration program. None of them are the parts.

Interface control

Two subsystems that each meet their own spec can still refuse to talk. Our team builds to the interface control document and flags the gaps in it before anything is cut.

Power budget

Everything added to a platform draws current, and silent watch is where an optimistic budget gets found out. Our team totals it honestly at the start.

Space and access

A sensor that fits on the model but cannot be serviced without dropping the pack is a maintenance problem you inherit for the life of the vehicle.

Electrical noise

Motors, radios and inverters on one chassis will interfere with each other unless the routing, shielding and grounding are designed rather than assumed. Our team provides EMI compliant solutions.

From platform surveyto acceptance

Platform survey

What is already on the vehicle, what power and bus capacity is left, and what physically fits. Most integration surprises are discovered here or discovered expensively later.

Interface definition

Mechanical, electrical and data interfaces written down and agreed, so every subsystem supplier is building to the same document.

Mounts and harnessing

Brackets machined or fabricated, harnesses built to the routing, then fitted and checked on the actual platform rather than on a bench.

Subsystem installation

Sensors, controls, power and payload installed, torqued and sealed to the drawing, with the as built configuration recorded as our team goes. Our team also offers GPS disabled guidance systems for platforms that have to operate without a satellite fix.

Integration test

Every subsystem exercised on the vehicle together, because passing individually proves nothing about how they behave sharing a chassis.

Acceptance and handover

Tested against your acceptance procedure, documented, and handed over with the configuration record and the spares list.
